Madonna – Signed 1986 Calendar From W.Bros Staffer w/Roger Epperson COA

A 1986 Madonna calendar, signed on the August page ‘To Link, Love Madonna’.

As the accompanying letter of authenticity explains, ‘My late wife worked at Warner Bros. Records in Burbank from 1981 to 1992…and from time to time they had perks such as an artist coming to the label for a listening party of their new album.  Madonna came to WB and they listened to her latest album, True Blue, which became a huge hit for her.  At the end, some of the WB employees brought over items for her to sign.  [My wife] brought a 1986 calendar…and had her sign it to Link [me].  A few moments later as more items were brought up to her to sign…Madonna yelled across the room to her publicist Liz Rosenberg, ‘Liz, get me outta here!’

Recordmecca’s Jeff Gold is a former executive vice president/general manager of Warner Bros. Records, and worked with the former employee who obtained this autograph, as well as working on numerous Madonna releases.

Madonna’s signature, in pink grease pencil, is huge, measuring 10 1/2″ long.  Above the number 26 is written ‘Club Lingerie’, the name of a Hollywood club, in an unknown hand.

Madonna’s signature has been authenticated by music autograph expert Roger Epperson, whose Certificate of Authenticity is included, as is the aforementioned letter, and Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.

Calendar 12″ x 24″ opened, 12″ x 12″ closed.  In very good condition, with some waviness from long ago exposure to moisture.
