Marvin Gaye – Original Adrian Boot Photograph
An original photograph of Marvin Gaye by noted English photographer Adrian Boot. The photograph was titled by Boot on the front, and his photo credit sticker and a bar code sticker are on the back. 9 1/4” x 11 3/4” .
Adrian Boot is one of Britain’s most celebrated music photographers. He was the staff photographer for Melody Maker, and also shot for NME, The Face, The Guardian and The Times (of London). He has photographed a wide variety of musicians, from the Sex Pistols, Clash, Damned to Jimmy Page, Bob Marley & The Wailers, the Grateful Dead in Egypt, and Live Aid.
This rare, original photograph was obtained from the archives of a stock photo agency, which licensed photographs to magazines and newspapers on behalf of photographers. It is an original hand-printed photograph, made from the original negative. While undated, it was probably printed near the time the photograph was taken. As a “vintage print”, it is much more collectible and valuable than a recent print. Note: We are selling this photograph as a collectible artifact only; all rights of reproduction and copyright remain property of the photographer or copyright holder.
