MC5 – Poster for Kick Out The Jams LP Recording
A rare 1st printing poster advertising the MC5 "in two recording concerts" at Detroit's Grande Ballroom on October 30 & 31, 1968. At these shows the MC5 recorded their debut album, "Kick Out The Jams." On this first printing, there are six stars visible on the top row of the flag, and Rob Tyner's hair is 1/4" from the right edge of the photo (the more common 2nd printing utilized a blown up photo, in which only 5 stars are visible in the top row, and Tyner's hair touches the right edge of the photograph.) This poster is in excellent condition, with a light border around the edges from a previous matte, and a bit of light tape residue on the top edge of the back. Approximately 14" x 22".
