Miles Davis – Near Mint 1959 Stereo 1st Pressing ‘Kind of Blue’ LP
A beautiful 1959 stereo first pressing of Miles Davis’s masterpiece Kind of Blue, the best selling jazz album of all time–for good reason, with his backing musicians being John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers and Jimmy Cobb.
The beautiful very lightly played deep groove disc, with 6-Eye labels, is in Near Mint condition. Looking carefully just a few spindle marks can be seen on the Near Mint labels.
The correct thick cardboard cover is in VG+ condition, with some scuffing to the front; the back cover incorrectly lists “Flamenco Sketches” as the fourth track and “All Blues” as the last track, however, the labels list the tracks in the correct order. The number 6 is printed on the back cover in the bottom right corner. With the original Columbia Records poly innersleeve.
A beautiful first pressing of an essential album.
