A vintage Ludwig Weather Master bass drum head, owned and used by Mitch Mitchell (1946-2008), legendary drummer for The Jimi Hendrix Experience.  This 20 3/4″ diameter  head was sold by Mitchell’s estate in the Julien’s Auction 2017 sale of Mitch Mitchell memorabilia, and comes with the  description card from the auction (4″ x 6″), the original identifying tag, and a copy of the relevant page from the catalog.

It’s not known when Mitchell used this head, but it’s clearly vintage and used, and will frame beautifully.  A great artifact from one of rock’s most celebrated drummers.  With Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.
