Moby Grape – Sealed Mono Debut LP, with Uncensored Cover, Poster, Promo Sticker

A sealed 1967 mono first pressing of Moby Grape’s self-titled debut album, with the uncensored “finger” cover, a promotional sticker and the uncensored original poster.  This album is regarded as one of the true masterpieces from the San Francisco 60’s scene, and we heartily agree.

Many Columbia Records albums from this era came with the cover unsealed, but the disc factory sealed in a perforated plastic inner-bag, as is the case here.  The beautiful mono disc is fully visible, but the perforated seal fully intact.

The uncensored album cover, with drummer Don Stevenson giving ‘the finger’, is near mint, with a promotional sticker in the upper right corner.  The poster, also the earliest uncensored version, is near mint, and machine folded as original.  A superb example of a scarce and highly sought after album.
