An extremely rare 1968 concert poster advertising two shows featuring Frank Zappa and the The Mothers of Invention, the Charlie Musselwhite Blues Band and Sweetwater, at L.A.’s Shrine Exposition Hall. These shows took place just two months after the release of the Mothers’ landmark third album, We’re Only in it For the Money.

This stunning poster, with art by R.L.Ramirez, is plate 3.50 in the essential reference guide The Art Of Rock, but the copy they reproduced has the green border trimmed off. In excellent condition, with some extremely minor and barely noticeable toning to a few areas of the border.  19 1/4 x 27 1/2″
