Muddy Waters, Free, Jethro Tull, Yes – 1968 Marquee Handbill

A November, 1968 handbill from the Marquee Club in London, advertising two appearances by Muddy Waters and his Blues Band (one with a very young Free,) and early shows by Yes, Jethro Tull, Joe Cocker, The Nice, Spooky Tooth, Black Cat Bones, Love Sculpture, Taste, and many others.  Free played four times during November, the same month they recorded their debut album (though it wasn’t released until the next year.)  This handbill also features extremely early appearances by Jethro Tull (who released their debut album only a month earlier), Joe Cocker and Yes (both didn’t release their debut albums until 1969.)  5 3/4″ x 9″, in near mint condition.
