A 1963 white label promotional first pressing of Folk Festival of the Blues, boldly signed by Muddy Waters.  This Argo/Chess Records live album featuring Muddy, Howlin’ Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Willie Dixon and Buddy Guy was recorded July 26, 1963 at the Copa Cabana Club, in Chicago, Illinois.

Very rare in any version, this is the only white label promo copy we’ve seen.  Muddy Waters has autographed the back cover in black marker, with his large signature measuring 6″ across.  This has been authenticated by music autograph expert Roger Epperson, whose Certificate of Authenticity is included, as is Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.

Cover EX, with age toning to the back cover on the right edge; disc Near Mint.
