A signed, black label Chess 1st pressing of "Muddy Waters Sings Big Bill" in beautiful condition. This 1960 classic, in which Muddy plays the songs of his idol, Big Bill Broonzy, is very rare on it's own. But this copy is signed by the great man himself, on the front in a truly "sweet spot." The ballpoint signature is a quite large 6.5" across, a bit light at the beginning, but fully legible. This is the only Muddy signed Chess lp we've ever seen, and it's a beauty. The cover is in Excellent condition, with the only issues a crease in the lower left hand corner, three small initials on the back cover, and a small invisibly repaired split bottom center. The black label pressing is in Excellent to Excellent + condition. A super copy of a great album, with Muddy's elusive signature. As with everything we offer, guaranteed authentic with no time limit.
