A stunning large poster for the 1963 American Folk Blues Festival’s show on October 12, 1963 in Berlin, Germany.  The extraordinary lineup featured Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson (II), Willie Dixon, Otis Spann, Lonnie Johnson, Memphis Slim,  Big Joe Williams, Matt “Guitar” Murphy, Victoria Spivey and Bill Stepney.  This is the only example of this poster we know to have survived, and it’s in near excellent condition with some clear tape stains along the edges and on the back and a few barely visible and long flattened creases.  33″ x 23 1/2″.  Art by Michel+ Kieser.
