An extremely rare handbill for a June 15, 1991 show at Iguanas in Tijuana, Mexico featuring Dinosaur Jr. and Nirvana, signed by Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Chris Novolesic of Nirvana, and J. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr. The signatures were obtained by Brian Curley of the band 27 Devils Joking, who played a number of very early dates with Nirvana, and befriended the band. Curley sold the handbill circa 2001 to Nirvana collector Mark Arevalo, who notes in his letter of authenticity that in the early 90's he himself befriended Kurt Cobain, who was always willing to sign items for him and their fans in the early days. These are "pre-fame" signatures, where the band members signed their full names in easy to read handwriting (unlike their later quickly dashed off signatures.) Note that at this time Dinosaur Jr. was the headlining act. The 8 1/2" x 11" handbill is very rare in itself; this signed one is very likely unique.
