Nirvana – Original Love Buzz Single #231/1000
A beautiful, guaranteed original first pressing of Nirvana's debut single, LOVE BUZZ/BIG CHEESE, on Sub Pop. This was issued as a limited edition of 1000 numbered copies, of which this is number 231. The fold open sleeve is in virtually mint condition; we grade it as virtually mint, as there is a super faint round impression from the 45 visible under direct light from very close-up. Most would grade this as Mint, but we think it's a hint below that–but as you can see from the scans, it's virtually perfect. And of course the Alice Wheeler/Susanne Sasic/Lisa Orth credits on the back are clear (unlike on the bootlegs.) The disc is NM/M, and again, just a hair below mint, as it has a few faint spindle marks on each label. Again, these we are being extremely nit-picky here, but we try to describe any imperfection, no matter how slight. The photos accurately represent how nice this copy is–it looks as if it were made yesterday, shiny and brand new. Of course the matrix has the Kdisc stamp on both sides, the Side A inscriptions "Why Don't You Trade Those Guitars For Shovels" SP-23-A / L-31540, and on Side B SP-23-B L-31540X. We have not registered this copy on the Live Nirvana website, so the buyer can register it and enjoy the glory of owning this very rare record ( http://www.livenirvana.com/digitalnirvana/discography/owners/love_buzz.html ). Super rare and an extremely historic punk/grunge 45. As with everything we offer, guaranteed authentic with no time limit.
