An extremely rare copy of the "split" Nirvana/The Jesus Lizard picture sleeve single on Touch and Go Records, signed by Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Krist Novolesic of Nirvana, and David Yow and David Wm. Sims of The Jesus Lizard. The signatures were obtained by Brian Curley of the band 27 Devils Joking, who played a number of very early dates with Nirvana, and befriended the band. Curley sold the signed single circa 2001 to Nirvana collector Mark Arevalo, who notes in his letter of authenticity that in the early 90's he himself befriended Kurt Cobain, who was always willing to sign items for him and their fans in the early days. Cobain has drawn horns on his head and an outline around the dog he's holding, signing "The Real Kurt Cobain" (indicating the dog is the "real" Kurt.) Dave Grohl signs his name, as does Krist Novoselic (who had changed his name from Chris.) David Yow signs "Yow, Yow, Yow David Yow" and David Wm. Sims simply signs his name, adding a number or extra humps in the "m." Authentic signed Nirvana records are extremely scarce (while forgeries are very common.)
