Otis Redding – 1965 “Respect” Boxing-Style Globe Promotional Poster

A stunning 1965 Globe boxing-style day-glo poster advertising Otis Redding and his hit single “Respect,” and Redding-produced singles by Arthur Conley and Billy Young.  This poster was sent to radio stations by Redding’s manager and business partner, Phil Walden.

This oversized cardboard poster measures 22″ x 30 1/2″.   The day-glo inks and classic graphics just pop, making this one of the most attractive boxing style posters we’ve seen. An example of this poster is on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.  In overall excellent condition.
