Paul Butterfield Blues Band – Signed La Cave 1967 Concert Contract and Handbill
A signed contract for the legendary Paul Butterfield Blues Band at Cleveland’s La Cave in September and October 1967, and a handbill for the shows. This is signed by promoter Stanley Kain and the late, great Paul Butterfield himself (in fountain pen!) For three shows a night, six days a week they made $2750 a week, plus part of the gate. Also featured on the handbill are engagements by the Jim Kweskin Jug Band, The Pack, Richie Havens and The Youngbloods. On the back of the handbill are expense notes related to a La Cave show by the Apple Pie Motherhood Band.
A rare autograph from a blues rock giant. Both 8 1/2” x 11”, in very good condition.
