Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd, at the very beginning of their career, were the house band at London's UFO Club. This impossibly rare poster promoting an early UFO gig is from January 20, 1967, prior to the release of Floyd's first single. We know of no other copy of this huge poster, which was designed by Michael English, and measures 30" x 41." Beautiful color printing this photo doesn't do justice to; one vertical fold, a lower left corner fold, and a bit of missing paper in the top left border. As it is backed by rice paper, the missing paper isn't apparent. Spectacular. (This poster is perfectly rectangular, thought there is some distortion of the edges in the photo)
