Public Enemy / Stetsasonic / Living Color / Fishbone – 1988 Boxing-Style Concert Poster
A rare boxing-style concert poster for a Public Enemy/Fishbone/Living Color/Stetsasonic show on December 17, 1988 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. This show was in support of Public Enemy’s breakthrough album It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, which had been released at the end of June, 1988 (see live footage of this show here).
The cardboard poster, measuring 14″ x 22″, was printed by the legendary Colby Poster Printing of Los Angeles, and is in excellent unused condition, with a light horizontal crease across the top of “Public Enemy”. A rare hip hop poster from Public Enemy’s early days.
