A UK first pressing of Queen’s 1974 album Sheer Heart Attack, autographed on the front cover by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon.  The signatures have been authenticated by music autograph expert Roger Epperson, whose Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Authentic signed Queen albums are rare indeed; in 2023 a fully signed copy of their debut album sold at auction for $39,178. As this album is signed on the darkish laminated front cover in ballpoint pen, the autographs don’t ‘pop’ as much as they might, and it has been priced accordingly.  However, as detailed in the close up images here, each large signature is full and clear.

The album cover is in very good minus condition, with some creasing to the right edge and light residue from clear tape along the top edge.  The disc is in vg/vg- condition, and the lyric innersleeve is in vg-, with foxing and some seam splitting.

With Roger Epperson’s Certificate of Authenticity, and Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.
