Red Hot Chili Peppers – Flea’s Handwritten Editing Notes for 2003 Slane Castle Concert Film (5 pages)

Five pages of Flea’s handwritten notes for the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 2003 Live At Slane Castle concert film.

Flea wrote these notes for the film’s editor or director after viewing a rough cut of the concert, specifying changes he’d like made;  for instance on “By The Way” he notes “is it possible to show more of the group shot that happens in the beginning of the 1st chorus?” He lists each song from the concert, marking some “fine” and others with specific changes he’d like made.

The pages each measure 3 1/2” x 4 3/4” and are on a notepad from New York’s Mercer Hotel. A unique insight into the mind of one of rock’s premier bassists and a Chili Peppers founder.  From the collection of former Red Hot Chili Peppers road manager Louis Mathieu, with Recordmecca’s lifetime guarantee of authenticity.
