A vintage unpublished live photograph of MC5 singer Rob Tyner (1944-1991), from the collection of Danny Fields, the Elektra Records ‘house hippy’ who signed the MC5.  We can find this image nowhere online, and it is likely unpublished.

This heavyweight print was made close to the time the photograph was taken, and has the handwritten credit on the back ‘Steven M. Sti— (undecipherable) Photographer.  We obtained this directly from Danny Fields, who the photographer must have sent it to.  Fields signed both the MC5 and the Stooges to Elektra, later going on to manage the Stooges and the Ramones.

With Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity, noting this print’s unique provenance.

8″ x 10″.  In Near Mint condition.
