Rolling Stones – 1964 Richmond Unused Ticket and Unique Ad Proof
An unused ticket and unique ad proof for the 1964 "4th National Jazz & Blues Festival" at Richmond, Surrey, England. This was headlined by the Rolling Stones–the first time they ever headlined a festival, and also featured The Yardbirds, Manfred Mann, Long John Baldry, Graham Bond, and Georgie Fame, among others. The large unused ticket (3 1/2" x 4 7/8") is in mint condition. Also included is a unique proof for an NME ad for the festival, which was sent to the promoters to approve before the ad was to run. It looks like a handbill, and lists all of the bands, and is printed beautifully in letterpress on thin newsprint (5 3/4" x 8 3/4," in near mint condition.)
