Rolling Stones – Keith Richard – Personally Owned Sterling Skull Watch Fob
A custom made sterling silver skull watch fob with secret compartment, owned and used by Keith Richard of the Rolling Stones. Keith gave this fob and a number of other personal items to his longtime bodyguard, personal assistant and friend Joe Seabrook. After Seabrook died in 2000, his wife Anne sold this and a few other items Keith had given to Joe to well known Stones collector Gary Greenberg (Greenberg blogs about the Stones and collecting at http://garyrocks.wordpress.com/). The skull fob is beautifully handcrafted in silver; when the pin on the bottom is pulled out, the jaw opens up to reveal a secret compartment. There is an ornate design on the skull bottom, and a sterling stamp inside the cranium. Attached to the skull is a 10' silver chain with bones, a small skull, and a skeleton hand. Greenberg writes in his letter of authenticity of 'Keith's well known love of skulls.' This is one of the most impressive artifacts we've ever had the pleasure to offer. As with everything at Recordmecca, this is guaranteed authentic, in writing, with no time limit. Also included are signed letters of provenance/authenticity from Anne Seabrook Bolton and Gary Greenberg.
