A 14" square lenticular display for the Rolling Stones psychedelic masterpiece "Their Satanic Majesties Request." Tens of thousands of small 3-D flashers were made for the album covers of the Stones Satanic Majesties Request lp, but only 150 of these large, 3-D displays were made by Vari-Vue Productions of Mt. Vernon, NY to promote the Stones' 1968 classic album. This is the finest example we've ever seen of this rare and sought after Stones collectible, and it's in near mint condition. It was obtained from a Hollywood record store in 1968, was framed, and carefully stored for nearly 40 years. During that time, it was rarely displayed, and as a result is in super condition, with the colors bright as the day it was made (we have seem a few of these that have faded quite a bit from exposure to direct sunlight.) We obtained it from the original owner. This beauty is in a high quality, archival "plex box" frame, exhibited against a black background–and looks great. You'll never see another one in this beautiful condition. (Another one of these sold in an online auction recently for $5854.43 !)
