Rolling Stones – London Promotional Album RSD-1
An original pressing of the highly collectible Rolling Stones promotional album issued by London Records in 1969 and sent to radio stations. This album, known by its catalog number RSD-1, is ultra scarce–allegedly only 100 were pressed in the US (on London Records) and 100 in the UK (on Decca Records,) though we think that number is probably a bit low. The cover is a very clean EX+, with a lightly creased lower left corner and a bit of cracking to the lowermost inch of the spine, with some very hard to see eraser scuffing to sheen of cover. This is by far the cleanest cover we've seen for this album. The shiny disc grades VG++ on one side and VG+ on the other, as it has a few light marks on each side, but lots of original shine. On each side, some light ticks are audible during part of a single track, but the music is loud and the ticks subtle–overall it plays very well, and there are no jumps or skips. Overall, a clean copy of a very very rare record.
