Rolling Stones – Unreleased 1978 Rehearsal / Songwriting Tape

An unreleased cassette tape of the Rolling Stones rehearsing and jamming in a studio, possibly during a songwriting session, with unknown and unreleased songs.

We acquired this tape from the late Art Collins, who ran Rolling Stones Records at the time it was recorded.  The tape features the Stones jamming in the studio for 24 minutes, mostly without vocals; they start with loose versions of “Miss You” and “Lies” and continue with two longish jams.  The audio quality is excellent.  This is a truly unique look into the working process of the Stones.   With a CD of a digital transfer of the tape  (Sorry but as this is an unreleased tape, we can not sell copies.)
