A 1973 UK second pressing of The Sensational Alex Harvey Band’s 1972 album Framed, on Vertigo Records.

Recordmecca’s Jeff Gold got the autographs of Alex Harvey and drummer Ted McKenna when the SAHB played the Roxy Theater in West Hollywood in November 1975.  Harvey signed the album when he climbed to the theater’s balcony on a ladder mid-performance. Gold, an autograph collector, brought the album to the show in the hopes of getting the band to sign it, and was ready with a pen when Harvey climbed to the balcony in front of his seat.  When the show was over, McKenna signed from the stage.

Harvey’s autograph is nearly 8 1/2″ across, and McKenna’s nearly 7″.  The disc and die-cut gatefold cover are in Near mint condition.

With Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity, signed by Gold and noting the circumstances of the signing.
