A Jamie Reid designed promotional postcard made by Virgin Records UK, circa October 1977, to promote the Sex Pistols fourth single, ‘Holidays in the Sun.’

Reid here appropriates a panel from a Belgian tourist brochure, adding in the speech bubble a lyric from ‘Holidays in the Sun.’  The reverse side features the band’s iconic logo and the song title, both rendered in ransom-style lettering.

In 2022 an example of this rare artifact sold at Sothebys London for $480 (378 pounds.)
