Shelagh McDonald – Unplayed ‘Stargazer’ 1972 Japan White Label Promo LP (Acid/Psych masterpiece)
A beautiful VG+/Mint Japanese white label promo of Shelagh McDonald’s 1972 masterpiece acid/folk album Stargazer, on Philips Records. The disc looks unplayed and stunning, and we wouldn’t be surprised if our spot-check play was the first time this rarity had ever been on a turntable. And it sounds fantastic, as mint 70s Japanese pressings usually do.
The cover is VG+ with some minor ring wear, a bit of fraying to the top of the spine, and some faint moisture spotting on the back cover in the lower left corner. We’ve never seen a Japanese copy of this ultra rarity, and of course had never heard of a promo copy.
