A Stephen Stills’ original handwritten lyric manuscript to the Crosby, Stills & Nash classic “See The Changes.” This is a close to finished version, written on two sheets of lined yellow paper, the second backed by a tracking sheet from Warped Recordings studios. This came from the collection of CSNY associate and mastering engineer Denny Purcell, who rescued it from a recording session. This song featured prominently on the 1977 album CSN; ROLLING STONE called it “one of CSN’s key moments,” while ALL MUSIC GUIDE said “it ranks with the best of Steven Stills’ work.” The song also appears on the band’s GREATEST HITS album and Box Set. This is the only CSN lyric manuscript I’ve ever seen on the market, and as it’s an important song in their canon, it’s all the more desirable. In very good condition; some creases, edge tears folds–but as rare as it gets !
