The Beatles – 10 Vintage Professional Live Photos/San Francisco
A set of ten original vintage photographic prints of the Beatles live at San Francisco's COW PALACE, August 19, 1964. This was the first date of the Beatles first proper American tour (they had played a few east coast dates in February 1964 in conjunction with their trip to the US to perform on the Ed Sullivan Show, but this was their first actual US Tour.)(br)These photos each measure 5" x 7" and are vintage, meaning they were printed at the time the negatives were made (and of course, were printed from the original negatives.) Each is in near perfect condition, having been stored in a photo album (included,) under clear acetate, but not attached in any way to the pages–exactly how they should have been stored.(br)Each has the stamp of the photographer, Proctor Jones, on the back, and the date of the concert.(br)These came from the collection of a private collector in the Bay Area, and are both historic and beautiful. We haven't found any record of these ever having been published before.
