The Beatles – 1965 Factory-Sealed Mono 1st Press “Beatles VI” LP, with Store Price Sticker (Beware of the fake sealed albums on Ebay)
A beautiful factory-sealed Mono first pressing of Beatles VI, on Capitol Records. This is the earliest pressing, with “See label for correct playing order” on the back cover, and the number 3 printed on the back corner, indicating this was printed in Scranton, PA.
The fully intact shrink wrap has two ‘breath holes’ on the front, and one on the back (visible in the red circles in the photos). The front shrink has a price tag from the regional department store chain Sterns, which operated in the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania area. The cover is in Near Mint condition, with square corners and two barely noticeable light creases to the front cover slick, to the left of Paul’s shoulder, from the fabrication process.
A beautiful sealed copy of a desirable Beatles album. With Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.
[Note: Recently there has been a proliferation of fake sealed 60’s albums on Ebay, many with fake stickers or price tags. We have written about this here. When buying a rare sealed album, insist on a written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.]
