The Beatles – Exceptionally Clean Complete 1968 ‘White Album’ 2 LP / Near Mint Cover, Discs, Extras

A beautiful complete and barely played 1968 pressing of The Beatles, aka The White Album, on Apple Records, in Near Mint condition.  The embossed first pressing cover is numbered # 1191324.

The beautiful gatefold cover in in Near Mint condition, with square corners and tight seams; as nice as you could hope to find. The poster and four photographs are also in Near Mint condition.

Both discs are in Near Mint condition, and likely have been played no more than two or three times at most, with no spindle marks on any of the labels.  The disc one labels have the following errors: ‘Obladi Oblada’ instead of ‘Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da,’ ‘Bungalow Bill’ instead of ‘The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill’ and ‘Why Don’t We Do It In The Road’ instead of ‘Why Don’t We Do It In The Road?’  All of the titles on the disc two are correct.  The stamper numbers are likely the earliest found on the correctly mastered discs: 36/34 and 35/34.  All four sides play perfectly throughout, with no issues at all.

A remarkably clean copy of a highly desirable album.

Matrix numbers: SWBO-1-101 -A36/SWBO-2-101-A34/SWBO-3-101-B35/SWBO-4-101-A34
