The Beatles – ‘Let It Be’ UK Apple 1st Press Box Set w/LP, Book

A complete 1970 UK first pressing of The Beatles’ Let It Be box set with the LP and book.

Let It Be was originally released in the UK by Apple Records as a box set, which included a copy of the Let It Be album with a red apple logo on the back cover, and a perfect bound book documenting the making of the album and accompanying film.  After the boxed copies sold out, Apple offered the album as a stand alone with the later copies featuring the standard green apple logo.

The laminated slide-off box cover is in VG++ condition with some general light wear and a small white spot on the back cover beneath the lamination—this is not a tear, but a minor manufacturing flaw.  The book is in excellent condition with no loose pages.  The tray and insert are both in VG+ condition, with some minor ink loss to the edges, but fully intact.  There is a minor tear to one corner of the tray, but it’s much nicer than most examples.  The disc graded NM-, with 2U 1GAM and 2U 4AP stampers.  Finally, the red apple sleeve is in VG++ condition, with some very minor lamination lifts and creases.

A clean example of a rare and sought after Beatles rarity.
