The Beatles – Near Mint UK Gold Parlophone Please Please Me LP

A superb Near Mint copy of the rare "Gold Parlophone" first pressing of the Beatles UK debut album (and their first album anywhere in the world,) PLEASE PLEASE ME. The Gold label was available only for a few weeks before Parlophone changed their label design to the more familiar Yellow & Black design. Gold label copies are highly sought after as the "first of the first" pressings. The disc here is in Near Mint/EX+ condition, and sounds fantastic. The all important labels are in flawless Mint condition; this is the second label variation with the "Northern Songs" publishing designation (both are equally rare and desirable.) The Ernest J. Day & Co. "large Mono" cover is in NM- condition, with some minor lamination creasing, and a pure white back. The tax code is ZT, the master numbers -1N, and the stamper numbers 2 GH and 1 L. As clean a copy as you could ever hope to find of a historically important (and fantastic !) album.
