The Beatles – Ringo Starr Signed “Sgt. Pepper’s” Picture Sleeve 45 With Perry Cox Letter of Authenticity

A promotional copy of the 1978 Capitol Records Beatles’ single “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” signed boldly on the front cover by Ringo Starr.  Starr signed the picture sleeve “Love, Ringo ’01” in black pen, for a Delta Airlines supervisor at Logan Airport in Boston.

This autographed picture sleeve has been authenticated by Perry Cox, one of the foremost Beatles autograph experts in the world, and author of Price Guide For The American Beatles Records.  Cox’s accompanying letter of authenticity notes, in part, that this is a “vintage 1978 issue Beatles 7” ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ US picture sleeve signed on the front nicely by Ringo Starr as “Ringo” with his customary lightning bolt underline.  Ringo also adds “Love” above and the date “01” following his signature…Very nice example and signed in black ink pen”.

Sleeve in VG++ condition with very minor handling creases; promotional white label single with mono and stereo versions of “Sgt. Pepper’s” in Near Mint condition.  With Perry Cox’s letter of authenticity and Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.
