The Beatles – Script to Never Produced 3rd Beatles Movie

An extremely rare script to "Beatles 3", the never produced sequel to "Help" commissioned by "A Hard Days Night" and "Help" producer Walter Shenson. As has been well documented, Shenson hired British television writer Owen Holder to script the third Bealtes movie, which was to be a departure from it's predecessors. By June 1967, this had been retitled "Shades of a Personality, to be directed by Michelangelo Antonioni (perhaps best known for his 60's classic film "Blow Up.") The story concerns a person who suffers from multiple personalities, with different aspects of him manifesting as John, Paul, George and Ringo. The film was intended to feature new songs as well as scoring by The Beatles, but ultimately wasn't made, as the band's attention became focused on the making of Sgt. Pepper and the Magical Mystery Tour television film. This script, the only one we know of to have survived, came from the estate of the film's producer, Walter Shenson. In excellent condition, 109 pages in total.
