The Beatles – Second State ‘Butcher Cover’ In Excellent Condition
A second state Beatles Yesterday and Today “Butcher Cover” album in Excellent condition. A second state Butcher has the replacement “trunk” cover pasted over the offending “butcher cover, with the “V” from Ringo’s butcher smock visible to the right of the trunk. Second state butchers are rarer than “peeled” third state butcher covers, as nearly everyone who found one tried to peel it, with varying degrees of success. This a #6, meaning it was printed in Los Angeles. This copy is very clean with a tiny bit of rubbing at the top of George’s head, and on the back cover some light aging and a barely noticeable tape pull to the right of the “Meet The Beatles” cover (this is irregularly shaped, but no larger than 1″ x 1/2″ at any point.) The seams are fully intact, with just a small bit of fraying to the top and bottom edges near the right corners. With an original first pressing disc in VG+ condition.
