The Beatles – UK Mono 1st Press “Revolver” LP With Alternate “Tomorrow Never Knows” XEX606-1
A very rare UK Parlophone mono first pressing of the Beatles 1966 album Revolver, with the rare alternate mix of “Tomorrow Never Knows.” The disc is in strong EX condition and the cover Near Mint-. Producer George Martin mistakenly mastered this album with the wrong version of John Lennon’s psychedelic classic (“remix 11”), and it was pressed for a day before Lennon caught the error. The rare first pressing here is identified by the matrix number XEX-606-1 on Side Two of the disc. The stampers here are XEX-606 2 1 GO and XEX-606-1 3 GA. Scarce and highly sought after, especially in this condition.
