Kennedy presidential campaign benefit ‘SRO for RFK’ featuring The Byrds, Sonny & Cher, Mahalia Jackson and Roosevelt Grier at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on May 24, 1968. This was one of the few Byrds shows to feature Gram Parsons in the lineup, and took place two weeks prior to Robert Kennedy’s assassination.
