The Damned – Vintage Photograph Adrian Boot 9.5″ x 12″

A rare vintage photograph of The Damned’s Captain Sensible and Rat Scabies, by Adrian Boot This is an original hand-printed photograph, made from the original negative and printed near the time the photograph was taken.  As a “vintage print,” it is much more collectible and valuable than a recent print.

This photograph was taken by English photographer Adrian Boot; his photo credit is stamped and handwritten on the back. This print was obtained from the archives of the Retna Pictures stock photo agency, which licensed photographs to magazines and newspapers for publication on behalf of photographers.

Adrian Boot is one of Britain’s most celebrated music photographers.  He was the staff photographer for Melody Maker, and also shot for NME, The Face, The Guardian and The Times (of London).  He has photographed a wide variety of musicians, from the Sex Pistols, Clash, Damned to Jimmy Page, Bob Marley & The Wailers, the Grateful Dead in Egypt, and Live Aid.

9.5″ x 12″ in excellent condition, titled on the front in pencil, with a bit of creasing to the edges, not affecting the image.  Note: We are selling this photograph as a collectible artifact only; all rights of reproduction and copyright remain property of the photographer or copyright holder.
