A very rare first-printing concert poster advertising a show by The Doors, the James Cotton Blues Band and the Crazy World of Arthur Brown at Detroit’s Cobo Arena, on May 6, 1968.  This show was promoted by Russ Gibb, and the poster’s artwork is by Gary Grimshaw.

Original printings of this poster are extremely scarce; this is the first we’ve had.  In excellent condition, there is some minor handling, a few soft creases, some very minor edge wear and a faint stain to the back about the size of a dime, very faintly visible on the front below the letters “W0” in “World.”  These are all minor distractions however; overall, it looks great, and will frame beautifully.  13″ x 21″.
