A beautiful mint condition and unread ‘Autographed Collector’s Edition’ of the 1983 book The Doors: An Illustrated History, beautifully signed by Ray Manzarek, Robby Kreiger and John Densmore.

This example was factory sealed when we obtained it from the estate of the book’s author, longtime Doors associate and manager Danny Sugerman; we only opened it to photograph the signatures. The full shrink wrap is still wrapped around the book, with the ‘Autographed Collector’s Edition’ sticker present and the Jim Morrison poster inside.

The signatures, in black ballpoint pen, are very large: Ray Manzarek’s measures 5 1/2″, Robby Kreiger’s 6 1/2″ and John Densmore’s 6″.  In mint, unread condition, other than a minor bit of creasing from the manufacturing process to the paper lining the inside front cover.  With Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity, noting that this was part of Danny Sugerman’s collection.
