The Doors – Jim Morrison – Signed Business Card From Toronto Rock & Roll Revival

A business card signed by Jim Morrison of The Doors at the historic Toronto Rock & Roll Revival in September, 1969. The card was signed for New Musical Express journalist Roy Carr, who had flown from London to cover the event. The Toronto Revival is a legendary concert which John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band agreed to play at the last minute (they rehearsed on the airplane from London.) Morrison signed this card for well known journalist Carr, who wrote for and edited NME, as well as VOX and Melody Maker. Carr gave the signed card to NME journalist Max Bell in 1975, from whom we acquired it. A vast majority of the Jim Morrison autographs offered are forgeries, but this is the real thing, guaranteed authentic by Recordmecca, in writing, and with no time limit. It has been examined by noted music autograph authenticator Roger Epperson, and his letter of authenticity is included, as is Max Bell's letter of provenance. A wonderful Doors/Jim Morrison artifact, from a historic event. 3" x 2" and in excellent condition. SOLD
