A superb 11″ x 14″ photograph of The Doors, shot in New York City in 1967 by the photographer most clearly associated with their record covers, Joel Brodsky. Brodsky photographed The Doors for nine of their album covers.

This beautiful print came from the estate of the foremost collector of Doors memorabilia and photographs, and is clearly an original print made from the actual negative. There is no credit on the back, only the inventory number “1156” written in pen.

We have seen other images from this shoot, but have not been able to find this exact image elsewhere; it may very well be unpublished. In near mint condition.  Stunning and very rare.
