An extraordinary set of handwritten song lists from Robby Krieger and John Densmore of The Doors, closely mirroring those featured on the sleeves of the 2013 compilation album The Doors – Curated by Record Store Day.

Two album covers for the Record Store Day LP were produced, one with a song list on the back handwritten by Kreiger, and the other by Densmore.  These original handwritten lists were made by the surviving Doors members for the packages, and not chosen, in lieu of very similar ones.

Each list, written on 8.5″ x 11″ paper, includes fascinating sketches in the margins, offering a glimpse into their creative process.

Krieger’s list is signed in the lower right corner, “Robby Krieger.” Along the margins, Krieger has drawn a series of playful sketches, including a hammer, car, light bulb, street sign, and animals, adding a personal and whimsical touch.

Densmore’s list, titled “JD’s Set List,” includes the same tracks, with his own distinct annotations like “5 to 1 – Fi(one)ve” and “monaural, sterio.” Also included are both variants of the sleeve, featuring printed facsimiles of the similar handwritten track lists, along with one of the limited-release 180-gram records.

A unique opportunity to own an intimate piece of The Doors’ legacy, blending their musical genius with personal artistic flourishes. With Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.
