The Eagles – Fully Signed 1983 Contract

Here’s a very rare original contract between Elektra/Asylum Records and The Eagles, hand signed by Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Don Felder and Timothy B. Schmidt.

This three page agreement between the band and their label is a settlement agreement whereby the label agrees to pay the band $165,000. to settle a disagreement about unpaid royalties–after the band’s accountants audited the label’s sales records. The band agree to accept the payment as settlement in full and release the label from any further claims.

The agreement is dated August 31, 1983 and is signed by an Elektra senior executive, as well as the four band members.

An original contract is the ultimate way to obtain a set of band autographs, and these are all clear and bold. A great insight into the working of one of the most popular bands ever. With Recordmecca’s written lifetime guarantee of authenticity.
