A very rare authentic BBC Transcription Disc of the The Groundhogs recorded live in 1973. This is an authentic BBC original ultra high quality pressing with green & yellow labels, not one of the common bootleg BBC Discs. These were made in extremely limited numbers–perhaps 50 only–and sent to UK radio stations, which played them once, and then discarded or returned them to the BBC. Consequently they are extremely rare and sought after. This is in Mint/Near Mint condition and comes with the original BBC sleeve (not in the photos, but it’s included), but unfortunately no longer has the “cue sheet.’ Tracks include MISTREATED/SPLIT PART 1/CHERRY RED/SPLIT PART 2/GROUNDHOG BLUES/STILL A FOOL.
