The Ramones – Extremely Early Concert Poster

One of the earliest known Ramones concert posters. This is for the Ramones' fifth-ever show outside the New York area, playing second bill to a hair band called MAZE at a New Canaan, CT high school in May, 1976 ! Underneath the cartoon of the band's Joey Ramone, it reads "Their furious, blasting rock and roll is non stop energy–NY TIMES." We acquired this poster from the band's first manager, Danny Fields, and is the twin of one we sold to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, OH. It measures 12" x 18" and is in overall excellent condition, with 3 horizontal creases from folding, and a number of virtually invisible staple holes. An extremely rare artifact from the birth of punk rock, with impeccable provenance.
