The Rolling Stones – 1969 Dallas Concert Handbill

A rare handbill for the Rolling Stones appearance at the SMU Moody Coliseum in Dallas, Texas, November 13, 1969. Rock critic Robert Christgau called the Stones '69 US Tour "history's first mythic rock and roll tour", while rock critic Dave Marsh would write that the tour was "part of rock and roll legend" and one of the "benchmarks of an era." The Stones are pictured here with the late Brian Jones, who of course was replaced on this tour by Mick Taylor. It's rare to find a handbill from this era with such great graphics and a photograph of the Stones. Measuring 9" x 12", this is in excellent condition, with a few small (and easily repaired, if you wish) tears along the top edge. We've been lucky to have a good deal of Stones memorabilia over the years, but this is the first one of these we've ever seen.
